The Professional Child Care Provider Association, or PCCPA, was chartered in 2004, and was originally spearheaded by a group of dedicated home care providers. Their aim being the creation of an organization that would facilitate the professional, cultural, and social growth for all those who partook in the group. The Late, Angelina Montenegro, created an organization that would increase knowledge and activities for all those involved, including both the individual child care provider, and also the children that are in their individual care. Since it's Inception PCCPA has expanded and chartered new responsibility to continue our goal of developing a safer, and more inclusive community for all involved by offering the community free training, to assisting them in registering for health care. PCCPA will continue working towards the original goal of helping the community. While we, as an organization, do not take responsibility for our members children, we do prepare each of our members with the knowledge and skills necessary to better prepare our members in becoming responsible and active child care providers. |
